Our story begins in 1945, when Jackson Ready-Mix retrofitted 22 army-surplus trucks into concrete mixers, helping fuel the post-war growth of the region. We opened our first plant on Woodrow Wilson Avenue — and we’re still there today. 

As the region grew, so did we. Through the 1950s and ’60s, we expanded our production facilities and added aggregates and related materials to better serve contractors and communities across the Mid-South. Each step forward was deliberate — built on relationships, not just volume.

Today, we operate as Delta Industries, Inc. —providing ready-mix concrete and construction materials across Mississippi and Tennessee, from the Gulf Coast to the hills of the Volunteer State.

What hasn’t changed? The people and the principles. Our team brings decades of hands-on industry experience with a relentless focus on quality, safety, and reliability. We show up, we do the job right, and we stand behind our work.

That’s been true since 1945. It’s still true today.
